Team: choosing new members

New team members are officially chosen during the annual seminar, by all participants.

  • Calls for new members are launched at least 2 months before the event, on the site and through the GreenYourope and European Greens’ Newsletters, and through personal calls to parties/countries not yet involved. In case of vacancies during the year, the call is launched as soon as such vacancies occur.
  • The deadline for applications is at least two weeks previous to the seminar.
  • All applications are put online at least a week before the conference, and mailed to all participants.

D. Choosing schedule

  • Presentation of candidates
  • Discussion about the best match (if needed)
  • If no consensus is achieved: a vote

E. Additional provisions

  • Length of term team members: a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 years. Members are re-eligible
  • When not enough ‘qualified’ candidates are available: leave places open, until satisfactory candidates are found. Same for members who have to quit before the end of their term.
