Michael Stimson

I have been a full member of the Green Party of England and Wales since 1991. I joined the Greens because both they and I opposed the first Gulf War.

I served several years on Regional Council as the delegate for the South-East of England, and a similar time on International Committee.

I have been a member of the Heerlen Co-ordinating Committee since 2005 and have attended all Heerlen annual meetings from 2005 to 2008. I have also attended most Committee and Skype meetings and the conference at Kleve.

Since 2005, I have worked hard in England to recruit Supporters from the GPEW. I have been considerably helped by Lin Tabak and Remco van der Stoep. I have arranged another EGP Supporters fringe meeting at Spring Conference on Sat Jan 18.

I am currently leaning on the GPEW executive, trying to persuade them to formally implement the Supporters Scheme. As a Team Member,I will have the necessary authority to successfully continue this work, and I therefore ask you to elect me.

I am fluent in French as well as English
