Extended Team Meeting – update

Aim: to move from ‘meeting & and talking’ to ‘getting things done’, and from ‘doing things ourselves’ to ‘involving’ others.

Whom to invite: team members, candidate team members and all others who are interested in working with us. Originally we aimed at inviting promising contacts and partners as well, just for the saturday afternoon and evening. Because the training is designed as a whole, however, from the warming-up on Friday to the division of engagements on Sunday, I propose we drop the latter. Please find an updated list & who contacts whom in the attachment to the mail. Christoph, Michael, Joline, and Lynn give people a personal call.  Maximum number of participants: 15/16. 7 have confirmed.

Venue: Brussels, Luc books hotel and conference room. Participants share rooms. Those who prefer an individual room, should deal with the hotel themselves & pay the difference in price. Conference room: preferably suited for 25-30 (for working with several smaller groups), at least one flat wall of 2,5 X 4 m.

When: Friday Jan 20 from 18h to Sunday Jan 22  14h

Coach: Chris van der Sande, an experienced trainer who has advised groups of citizens in several Balkan countries in working towards a Green Agenda for the region.

Programme (1st draft, comments welcome):

- Fri: informal warming-up to get to know each other, explanation aims and principles

- Sa: 4 sessions, converging from general and theoretical to practical and from ‘individuals with similar ideals’ to a group. As the general background we use the ‘GreenYourope project for 2014 *click here), as the practical practical project the GreenYourope 10 meeting in Vienna, from April 20 to 22.

- Sunday: conclusions – a new way of working, division of tasks
